*Cues dramatic music*

Well, it’s the day you’ve all been waiting for!!! No, not Halloween silly, the last day of my Scentsy giveaway!!!

First of all, a great big huge Kudos to Valerie, Heather, Mom2Boys, Lilhugs, Heidi, and Karen 🙂 I think Valerie and Heather went through all my posts at least 2 times and Mom2Boys and Heidi went through all my posts 🙂 I will be attempting to install the counter here in a bit but I’m not holding my breath. Since I will be having to hand count I would ask that my top 5 girls in the running will be careful not to leave me any comments after 10 p.m. tonight (8 p.m. for you Mountain Time ppl) And not post any until I announce the winner. Because I appreciate the amount of effort you have all put in to this I’ve added surprise gifts for the 2 runners up!!!! 😀 I’ll announce them along with the winners!

Thank you for all your input as to which card you like better! I decided to go with the purdy purple one! One of my resolutions for next year (I know, I’m really getting ahead of myself, lol!) Is to send out at least one hand written note per month, hoping on one a week. So if you’d like to get a random sweet note from me sometime next year please send me your snail mail addy!!! You can send it to my email:

3 Meal Magic – The Amazing Non-Diet for Emotional Eaters *Review*

When I first signed up to review 3 Meal Magic I somehow got confused and was thinking I was signing up for a book. When I received my copy and realized it was actually an audio track at first I was disappointed. I don’t know why, but for some reason I hate listening to audio books or anything motivational, lol! Since I’d signed up for the review though I went ahead and listened.
I was very pleasantly surprised! Tricia has a very nice voice and many good tips and thoughts. Although I’ve never thought of myself as an emotional eater I most definitely am a grazer, I love my snacks! I’m also terrible about shoveling stuff into my mouth while doing something else, reading, watching tv, blogging… 😉 She brings up many things that are blatantly obvious and yet so many of us fail to do, such as eating 3 square meals a day at a table, while focusing on the meal and actually enjoying it and nothing else. I really enjoyed 3 Meal Magic and plan on implementing many of her suggestions into my daily life! I also love that it’s not a diet. Diets are dumb and don’t work! Not in the long run for certain! Tricia’s approach makes much more sense to maintain a healthy weight for good. My favorite quote from the cd was, “Americans eat until they’re full; people in leaner cultures eat until they are no longer hungry.” How very true!
If you’re looking for a healthy, smart, and feasible approach to losing weight, maintaining a healthy weight, or battling with emotional eating I’d highly recommend this cd! If you’d like to learn more head on over to the website HealYourHunger or Tricia’s blog.
Tricia personally contacted me by email earlier today and asked me to share that she is also offering a Free Teleseries on “Weight Loss from the Inside Out” Here’s the information she sent me on it:
If you’re sick of dieting and have tried to lose weight, with little success, you know it’s not just about diet and exercise. It’s about deeper stuff…stress, hormones, emotions, body image, etc. Heal Your Hunger is hosting a series of 3 conference calls that take place November 4th, 11th and 18th, where the experts will reveal how you can achieve “Weight Loss from the Inside Out”. This is a body, mind and spirit approach to healthy weight loss. (No scales, pills, potions or gimmicks!) Just the honest truth about why you may be having trouble losing weight and what you can do about it. If you miss a call, don’t worry, recordings will be emailed to you the very next day. Remember, it’s free! Register now! Even if you don’t think this event is right for you, click on Register Now so you can get your free jumpstart kit!

I received my copy of 3 Meal Magic – The Amazing Non-Diet for Emotional Eaters thanks to Uprinting and HealYourHunger for this review

I’ve been Boo-ed! Eeek! ;)

The air is cool, the season is fall,
Soon Halloween will come to all.
Ghosts and goblins, spooks galore…
Tricky witches at your door.
The spooks are after things to do,
In fact, a spook brought this “BOO” to you.
The excitement comes when friends like you,
Copy this note and make it two.
We’ll all have smiles on our faces,
When we see who Boo’d who’s places.

I was Boo’d by Cheri at the It’s So Very Cheri (she left such a sweet note about me, you should go read it!)

The following 4 ladies have been officially BOO’d…

1. Traci @ From Tracie because you leave me sweet comments, you “gave” me a blog award and we love the same tv shows

2. Julia from Everyday Mom Ideas her blog has giveaways and free digital scrapping kits, I just downloaded the Zoo one and it’s awesome!!!…I think I’m in love!

3. Belinda from Mommy World because I love her name (I’m a big Love Comes Softly Series fan…what can I say? lol) and she’s such a good sport for jumping in the Scentsy contest 🙂

4. Valerie at The Bundy’s because I’ve really enjoyed her hundreds 😉 of comments and getting to know her!

This BOO party was started by Toni@The Tattered Cottage. Please keep the fun going by following these instructions.

2. Copy and post the Halloween Boo Poem with the instructions for playing.
3. Pick 4 blogs you enjoying visiting and tell why you enjoy visiting them, with a link to
their blog and remember to link back to me.

4. Go to the original BOO Party post at the Tattered Cottage and add your MckLinky. (<--not sure where this is, so sorry guys!) 5. Let’s see how fast and far this spreads between now and Halloween.

First of all I just have to let you know that I have 75 followers on this blog and 20 on Artistic Albums By Nicole–what good numbers!! *Does a happy dance* I so heart you all! You make me happy!

But anyways…now a note for my super crazy stalker wonderful girls who are really going at it to win the Scentsy plug in! First of all–kudos!!! You’ve been keeping me super busy, very entertained, and I feel like I know you all so much better! And you should be able to write a book about me by now! 😉

Second of all…the top commentor gadget is sadly no more. As Heidi so eloquently put it “it went kablewy”

What does this mean???

It means, my dear ladies, that although you will no longer know your standings the show must go on!!! And go on it shall!

The Scentsy Plug in and bar will still be going to my top commentor! I will determine the winner by hand counting, yes, hand counting (I plan on making a mark under the girls name for each comment, won’t lose track that way) all the horribly many, oh this is going to take me forever each and every beautiful thought you girls have been so sweet as to share with me!

The standings, as best as I can determine them from guessing right now are as follows (no I am NOT going to count them until I have to!)

Valerie and or Heather is in first place with 100+ (I’m assuming) comments
Karen/Lilhugsa/Heidi are all close behind

and now mom2boys is throwing her hat in the ring!!!

This is going to be a close one folks!!!

Hope that helps some–I think this way it’s much more suspenseful, don’t you?! Mostly just comment, comment, comment! 😀 I’ll post how many comments each of you has (might as well, right?!)

Also, I wanted to let you know I will be doing the Created to Be His Help Meet Study each Sunday. So order up your copy!!! 😀 I was so excited about the responses I got and am really looking forward to this!!!! I’ll start this Sunday with the introduction so that if you still need time to get your book we won’t jump into things right away.

Hope you’re all having a completely lovely day!

Green by Ted Dekker *Review*

Green, the book that readers of The Circle Trilogy have anxiously awaited, the book that finally brings the 3 different series all together, the end and the beginning.
The storyline picks up where The Circle Trilogy, The Paradise Novels, and The Lost Books leave off. Although Dekker claims you can read it first or last, my personal recommendation is reading it last!
This story is filled with betrayal and hope, the Apocalypse and great redemption, ultimate expressions of evil and good, hate and love…of course love, because that’s what all the books are ultimately about. The passages about Elyon literally gave me goosebumps!

In typical Dekker fashion it is a fast paced, action filled adventure that throws you between two realities. Also in typical Dekker fashion I wasn’t sure what I thought of it till the very end. My verdict?
I loved it!
The only thing I didn’t love was that, as he promised, all of the books form a perfect circle. Where Green ends, Black begins…even though Black is the first book and Green is the last. I’ve never read or heard of a series of novels like this and the lack of resolution is frustrating and yet brilliant at the same time.

Because, really, would I have expected anything less of Dekker?

*I recieved my copy from Thomas Nelson for free in exchange for a review of this book. The opinions in this post are entirely my own and completely honest*
