As moms you’d think that clearly we should have it all together all the time, right?! If you’re like me that statement makes you laugh! Remember, I’m a Real Mom! So in case you’re not perfect like me here’s my list of Five Things You’re Forgetting to Bring to Your Pool Playdate!

Ever since she was itty bitty Amber has loved to help me with laundry. From the time she was about 18 months old I would let her “help” me by pulling the dry clothes out of the dryer or putting wet clothes into it. As she got older it moved to throwing the dirty clothes into the washer and now I’m starting to teach her to sort a little. I’m a huge advocate of letting kiddos help around the house as much as they can and as much as they want to! It helps bonding, teach them responsibility, the feeling of belonging and accomplishment, as well as tuning fine motor skills when they’re younger and cognitive skills like sorting and matching clothing and colors when they’re older. The only part of the laundry that she’s never been able to help with is putting the laundry detergent in…for obvious reasons!
That is until now! The new Purex UltraPacks make laundry so easy that my almost 4 year old can pretty much do it from start to finish–all I have to do is turn on the water and hand her the Purex bag.
She was super excited that she got to throw the little pack in, and said it reminded her of a “bouncy ball”
When it comes to cleaning the laundry the packs did great as well! No more second guessing or over pouring! I can see how the packs would end up saving you money in the long run since you’d use less with them each time. These are a huge hit and I’m already almost to the bottom of our bag-we’ll definitely be picking them up on our next Commissary run!
Great news for you! Right now you can go and get a Free Sample of Purex Triple Action Liquid! Just click the link and go pick up your sample. In a few weeks they will switch to samples of these action packs–both are great products so go get them and try them out for yourself! After all, seeing is believing 🙂

Want to be let in on a little secret? I didn’t used to use Purex as my laundry detergent . I used to only use powder detergent, but then when Amber was born and we figured out she had eczema that was out. I spent several months looking through the different options-first going with the ridiculously expensive baby detergent (that didn’t work well for getting tough stains out) then ending up with a little less expensive brand that had a free clear version. After using Purex over the past year I’m completely hooked! Even when I don’t get sent bottles of their products Purex is now the only laundry detergent I purchase because I love it so much! It’s super affordable, and it works wonderfully–all while coming in a free clear solution that keeps my babies skin soft and eczema free! They just made their already great detergent even better by adding extra stain fighting power. This is a huge plus for me since my little man has to be one of the messiest little guys ever! My mother-in-law commented that she had never seen him with a clean face, and that’s about the truth of it, haha! I’ve been using Purex Triple Action on all my laundry over the past few months and it has worked great on everything from food stains to toddler underwear and sheets. Highly recommend it to any mom!
