Ways to Wear a Scarf ~ The Infinite Scarf

Me and my friend Warrie at a park playdate!

As I recently mentioned I’ve become a scarf convert! I’m also a lover of “all things snuggly” so when I saw The Infinite Scarf I wanted one just for the fact that it looked so soft and snuggly–and I knew that the tan one would go perfectly with my brand new (also soft and snuggly) coat!

Well Amber is my little mini me and ever since I started wearing scarves she’s been insisting that she wanted one SO badly–in fact it was one of the only things she asked for, for her birthday (funny kid!!!)

So naturally I had to give her The Infinite Scarf too! She was SO excited! She said, “Oh you DID get me a scarf!!! I had wanted it every day!!!!”

It was a *chilly* windy day during our park playdate and lunch out the other week–so both us girls bundled up in our scarves!

The Infinite Scarf is super cool for several different reasons. First off it’s machine washable (a MUST for me!!!) In addition to that it’s not *just* a super snuggly scarf–you can actually wear it in over 20+ ways–and then when you’re done it shapes right back into your snuggly scarf again! Always the rigorous reviewers Amber and I put it to the test.

Pretty cool right? With many of the “as seen on TV” products I normally watch and go “Riiiiiight.” But this one actually stands up to all the claims! It really does go from stretched out the the length of a dress back to a simple scarf! (we took the above pictures in order from left to right). Perfect if you’re a fashionista or want to add a super versatile piece to your daughter’s dress up box! Lucky for you I have a super special coupon offer so that you can get 2 scarves for the price of one–your neck will thank you!

Do you “like” me yet? If not be sure you do!

Concerning Scarves

A little over a year now I happened into–oh happy day–the world of Pinterest. What does this have to do with concerning scarves? All in good time, all in good time. While things like photography, dinner recipes, and yes–sweets–caught my eye, a board I quickly built up was my Wardrobe Makeover board. It seemed like each outfit I pinned included a scarf with it–and I thought that scarves were like hats-something that looks fabulous on others but utterly silly on me!

So away I pinned all while firmly disagreeing that a scarf was really necessary for all these delightful outfits I found! All of a sudden scarves were in and I felt a bit of the rebel–those silly girls and their scarves!!

All the while I continued to delight my geeky little closet nerd heart in my beloved BBC Classics and Happily Ever After type of movies. When I recently heard friends raving about how wonderful the shows Once Upon a Time and Sherlock were I had to check them out–especially the latter as I’ve always been a huge Sir. Author Conan Doyle fan and have read a lot of the original Sherlock Holmes stories.

And well….perhaps I’m just a bit reluctant to change, and perhaps they changed my mind just a wee bit with the total fabulousness of the shows, actors, actresses, and the scarves —>

But in any event I recently decided that I, too, would be jumping on the “we wear scarves and are fabulous” train!

I decided to start off with a no brainer, super pretty, super comfy scarf. The Infinity Scarf from The Nested Hen {a ridiculously cute Etsy shop} was the perfect choice for me!

It’s made of a lighter material which is absolutely perfect for here in Texas where one day (like today) there is a low of 27 and then in 3 days there will be a high of 75–craziness!

See my pretty scarf just peeking out?? Oh and my hair really isn’t RED like this-it was just the lighting that day

I loved how easy-peasy the infinity scarf is for a scarves noob like me–I looped it over twice, threw it around my neck, then played with it for a few seconds till it sat right. It goes so perfectly with this darling jacket I picked up last year in Boston, and I love the look pairing them together created!

I have joined the ranks of the fashionable–and it feels oh so snuggly warm!
