|I’ve been choosing healthier snacks, Yey!|
Sooo….as I’ve been writing about in my Moms of Faith columns this year is all about seeking balance for me. And it’s definitely a process where you have to continually work at it! I’m still trying to get a schedule that goes well for me, and so I *think* that I’m going to try to switch these posts to Monday. I flipped a few of my other writing slots around and Monday is always one of my busiest days, but it’s also one where I’m nearly always home so that should help….but anyways!
After a few weeks of very disappointing results I stepped on the scales today to see 135.2–woo hoo! So now I’m thinking that I must have just been retaining water or something because last Thursday I had weighed in at 137.6. So that was a good way to start off my week!
I’m jumping into my monthly goal a little late this month as hubby has been here and there and everywhere all over the world these days and that always throws things off for awhile! So my March goals are starting today and they are:
- Workout 4 times a week
- Take a picture of every single thing I put into my mouth *before* I put it into my mouth and upload it to the Facebook group daily.
My reward for this month is to buy a pretty nightgown I spotted at Khols while baby clothes shopping (not for me–my nephew arrived today, YEY!!!!) and I’d love to get it since I’d like to try the Pretty Nightie Challenge but don’t have anything in the “in between” grounds–as in between a huge baggy ratty t-shirt and a scratchy ridiculous piece of wire and lace. Hahaha! Maybe TMI but it’s a true story!
Oh and my new Zumba just got in and I tried it out for the first time today! I was reminded of how beyond clutzy and ungraceful I am right away and I stumbled over my two left feet, haha! So it’ll take me a little while to learn the moves, but it really does seem like it will be lots of fun. Also there’s nothing like the feeling of your fat thighs jiggling together to make you want to ditch those extra pounds right?! 😉
How is your weight loss/wellness journey going for you this year?
