Having a sick child is one of the hardest things that a parent can deal with! And it’s hard to have a baby or toddler with a cold because until now there were no safe and effective medicines for them.
I remember reading an article about the study that took place in 2007 that showed that honey was significantly more effective than the normal over the counter cough syrup and a placebo syrup when it was given to children ages 2-18 years old. I know that whenever I have a cold I drink gallons of hot tea with honey and it helps immensely. Apparently I wasn’t the only one who was paying attention to and interested in these findings! Dr. Zak Zarbock is a pediatrician who set out to use these findings in a way that could help his young patients. The result was ZarBee’s Children’s Cough Syrup. Here is a little about it from the company:
I was sent ZarBee’s Syrup in Lemon to review. Thankfully Amber is in perfect health right now so I haven’t gotten a chance to try the syrup out. I have every confidence that it will work wonderfully though and will post an update when I do get a chance to use it. I’m excited about having a safe, natural option to give her the next time that she’s sick!
A special thanks to the Product Review Place for hooking me up with this wonderful company and review/giveaway!
