My Very First Noah's Ark Playtime
Legalese Disclosure Nonsense: I have a problem when it comes to books–especially children’s books–and ESPECIALLY Children’s Work Books. I see them and I must have them. So when I was offered the chance to review Noah’s Ark Playtime I just *had* to say yes! All thoughts on books, arks, and gingerbread is my own.

When it comes to pretty much anything I love getting “the most bang for my buck”. This applies to children’s work books and storybooks, as well! I usually look for books that can be reused over and over again–like dry erase books can–or ones that can be used again once they’re all done playing with them–like workbooks that double as story books or have games, recipes, or activities that can be done over and over again. Books that are the best combine any number of the above items, and of course have to be good quality and cute as well. What can I say–I have high standards!

My Very First Noah’s Ark Playtime: Activity Book With Stickers happily falls into that hard to reach bracket! Cute and fun it does a good job of telling the well known story of Noah’s Ark. What makes this retelling special (since we already have several versions of this tale) is what it includes along with the cute retelling.

You can tell from the title that there will be stickers involved–and that area doesn’t disappoint. On the first page of the book you jump right into the sticker activities.

My Very First Noah's Ark Playtime

My First Noah’s Ark Playtime does a great job of including the story, sticker activities, and activities that can be done over and over again–like matching pairs or telling which animals are the moms or dads.

You might remember that in My Very First Easter Story Sticker Book I expressed some concern because I felt the stickers were a little too thin and ripped easily. The makers of the books must have listened because so far I haven’t seen/had this problem with this book at all! They’re a good thickness and the shapes make grabbing and peeling them up easy–which means Amber can do it by herself instead of enlisting me-which is kind of the whole point of an activity book!

In addition to this there are several fun and unexpected finds–like a “board game” page complete with “dice” you make from some of the stickers, and a Gingerbread Ark recipe! I was very happy and impressed with this book and would highly recommend it for anyone who has little ones!

You don’t have to just take my word for it, hop on over and check out the Amazon reviews — so far it has 5 stars!
